Slot Missions in Hogwarts
Slot missions can be a great method to obtain weapons, equipment and much more. They're difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot permits you to carry pistols on a mission. Some players use this to achieve certain goals particularly those who are going for Suit Only. Others prefer to have the additional pistol to make an extra weapon to close the gap. When using this slot, it's important to remember that you will need to click on the corresponding pistol category button, like the slot 2 alternative for machine guns, to select the category of your choice. Having Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it simpler. This combo also gives you damage from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds as long as you have it slotted.
Slot for items that are smuggled
The smuggled items slot is an excellent feature that allows players to bring in tools and weapons, but it could be improved with a better option. It's currently shaped like the shape of a pistol, making it difficult to differentiate the smuggled weapon slot from other slots for gear.
The smuggle slots are used to store a wide variety of items - from concussion devices and explosives for weapons to more subtle concussions. These items are covertly stashed in hidden locations around the map and can be found at any time. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes that hide small objects hidden in the scenery and objects.
Mission planning is an option in missions that are episodic. It allows players to unlock various starting locations as well as smuggled items and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning expand. This allows players to create the perfect mission for each task.
Gear Slot
The gear slots will rapidly fill up early in the game, leading to the dreaded message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message stops Max to select new equipment until the old items are taken away or space has been obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They provide an increase in inventory space to complete challenging missions. Because many of these challenges can be overlooked and are scattered around the globe, it might take a while to get the maximum number inventory slots in the game.
Each player has up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear Slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to a Break-In. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as Grenades in a grouping) can only use one Gear Slot.
Agency Pickups
As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations let you keep items that do not fit into your concealed weapon or gear slots and then retrieve it later.
These pick-ups can be useful in situations where your job requires you to pass through a frisk or if you have a weapon on you that could cause suspicion. Rain Bet can only hide one item in a pickup location.
This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To start these missions, simply talk to the receptionist of the agency and stock up on armor and snacks. Then, walk to the stated mission marker and spot a group when you arrive.
